RIIDE is available to drivers aged 18 and over who hold a P2 (green provisional) or open licence.
Not accepted
- Learner (L) licences
- P1 (red provisional) licences
- Probationary licences reissued after a suspension or disqualification
Additional damage excess
An additional $3,000 damage excess applies if you hold a P2 licence or if you are 18–20 years old. It’s applied once per hire (not cumulative). See Pricing and the Rental Agreement for details.
Notes
- Your licence must be valid for the vehicle class and not subject to conditions that prevent you from legally driving. Standard P2 conditions are acceptable.
- Applications are subject to identity and licence checks.
