My phone ran out of battery during the hire

If your phone runs out of battery, the RIIDE app may not be able to lock/unlock the vehicle or finish your booking. Call RIIDE support as soon as possible on 1300 580 175.  

If you’re in the vehicle

  1. Charge your phone immediately (USB/12V).
  2. Once your phone turns back on, open the RIIDE app and continue as normal.
  3. If you can’t finish your booking or lock/unlock the vehicle, call support.  

If you’re outside the vehicle

  1. Call RIIDE support straight away on 1300 580 175. 
  2. If needed, use a Telstra Payphone to make the call.

Telstra Payphones are free to use and are helpful in situations where you don’t have access to your phone, and they’re all around. You can use their locator to find one near you.
